Our Warriors are always on the lookout for cool spots around campus to hang out and hit the books. Whether it’s a cozy nook in the library or a sunny spot on the quad, we’ve got our go-to places. Check out a few of our favorite spots below!
Student Union
The Student Union is an exciting hangout space for students, and home to our varsity women’s bowling team and eSports team! The student union is under the College Church of Christ the Teacher, and includes:
- Six-Lane Bowling Alley
- Golf Simulator
- eSports Lounge
- Pool Tables
- Monica’s Kitchen: a new café and grill featuring indoor and outdoor seating with a variety of food options from all-day coffee and breakfast to paninis, soups, salads, pub fare, daily specials, plus gluten-free and vegan options!
The sakowich campus center
The Sakowich Campus Center, nicknamed the “Sak” by Warriors, is located in the center of Merrimack College and is the heart of campus life. It stands as the centerpiece of the school and brings our community together to share, discuss, and collaborate. In the Sak you will find:
- A lobby with a comfy fireplace and plenty of high-top tables
- The multi-purpose room (MPR) where you can play a pickup game of basketball with friends
- Sparkys, our main dining hall on campus offers buffet-style service
- The Commuter Lounge, a homebase for our commuter students
- The Fitness center where you can catch a spin class or lift weights
- The Honors Commons, home to our Honors students
McQuade Library
The McQuade Library is where you can find an abundance of resources. It also offers work spaces for groups as well as quiet corners for studying solo! Located in the center of campus, you will find:
- McQuade Café for your caffeine pick-me-up
- Collaborative workspaces with whiteboards for jotting down notes
- Cozy spaces to bunker down and hit the books
- Mack Mart, the perfect place to grab some study fuel
